We got a call about some hail damage to a roof in Palm Bay, and our inspection definitely confirmed that. On the coast of this beautiful State of Florida, there is unfortunately a lot of harsh weather systems that come through. This roof had served the homeowners well for over a decade, but it was clearly the time for a change. 1.25” hail pellets and strong winds have had their way with the aging asphalt shingles on the roof.
After having a conversation with the homeowners and providing guidance about going through the process of claiming hail damage on their insurance, we were able to get the go-ahead on starting the re-roof project. The homeowners decided to go with the GAF Nantucket Morning asphalt shingles.
Starting the Job!
Bright and early, our Superior One Roofing crew showed up to begin organizing our workspace and tearing off the old shingles on the roof. Once there was only plywood on the roof, we used GAF Stormguard underlayment to protect the roof from heavy rain in leak-prone areas.
We are proud of the job our crew did in both their attention to detail and how quickly they got the job done. We passed the city final inspection with flying colors and the homeowners couldn’t be happier!
